Second stop on the tour: Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium (aka Peachtree Stadium).

Explored downtown Atlanta and saw nothing but Bills Mafia flooding the streets. I stopped by Metro Diner & Bar, where a full-blown karaoke session was going down, Bills fans everywhere, singing and having a blast. Staying at Hotel Indigo Downtown was perfect as it was right in the heart of everything and within walking distance to all the major spots.

Strolled through Centennial Olympic Park, where people were out enjoying the perfect weather. The four torches reaching for the sky were an awesome sight. Within a 5-minute walk were the Georgia Aquarium and World of Coca-Cola, didn’t visit this time, but they’re right there if you’re planning a trip. I also passed the SkyView Atlanta Ferris Wheel before heading up to The Sun Dial Restaurant, 72 stories above downtown. The nighttime view was incredible. Atlanta really lights up from that high up.

When I finally made it to Mercedes-Benz Stadium, I took some time to soak it all in before the crowds arrived. From a distance it’s massive, but standing beneath it looking up it’s enormous. Couldn’t wait to get inside.

As we entered the stadium, you could feel the excitement nothing but a sea of Bills fans (me included) ready for Monday Night Football. The dome was open, and walking to our seats with that energy all around was unforgettable. The 360-degree halo screen overhead made the entire experience next-level.

The Falcons made a statement on national TV, defeating the Bills 24-14. Bijan Robinson dominated with 238 total yards from scrimmage, including 170 rushing yards and an 81-yard touchdown that took the air out of the Bills. From that point, the crowd took over with “Rise Up” chants echoing all night. We didn’t get the win, but it was an incredible experience start to finish.

Atlanta was an awesome stop. Everything was centered around downtown, tons to explore, and a fan atmosphere that’s second to none. Seeing that stadium in person and watching the game live truly stole the show. Stop #2 was unforgettable.

The Falcons shut the Bills down early and never looked back. Being on the losing side while watching the home team celebrate wasn’t easy but they earned it. That’s now two straight stops on our tour where the home team has come away with the win. I’m already looking forward to seeing what happens when we visit New Orleans as the Falcons takes on the Saints.

Around the league, Bears and Falcons were the two teams from our TOUR32 itinerary to pick up wins this week, while the Dolphins and Saints took losses.

In the standings, there’s now only one 5-1 team in the AFC which is surprisingly the Colts. Over in the NFC, the Buccaneers sit at 5-1, while the Packers are right behind with a 3-1 record.
